Valpolicella ripasso DOC

Valpolicella Superiore made from grape varietals from the hillsides in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico area. Produced using the traditional technique of “ripasso,” meaning the wine is allowed a second fermentation on the skins of the Amarone pressed grapes, it is then aged in oak casks for 12 months. The result is a full-bodied wine with intense color with a refined bouquet. It is a soft and velvety wine with a predominance of ripe cherry over the pleasant undertones of cocoa, tobacco and vanilla. It goes perfectly with game, grilled meat and mature cheese.
